This Privacy Policy explains how Fluffernook Games ("we", "us") collects, uses and shares information when you play Gridlock Getaway (the "Game") on Android. We collect only what we need to run the Game, keep your progress safe, show ads, process purchases and fix problems. We do not sell your personal information.

2. How we use information

  • To provide the Game: save and sync progress, run leaderboards, deliver purchases and rewards.
  • To show ads, including rewarded videos you choose to watch, and to stop showing ads if you buy "Remove Ads".
  • To analyze gameplay in aggregate and improve levels, balance and performance.
  • To detect cheating, fraud and abuse (for example, impossible leaderboard scores or offensive player names).
  • To diagnose crashes and technical problems.
  • To comply with legal obligations and respond to your requests.

If you are in the European Economic Area, the UK or Switzerland, we rely on: performance of a contract (providing the Game and purchases), legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, crash diagnostics, basic analytics), and your consent (personalized ads and, where required, analytics). You can withdraw consent at any time.

3. Service providers

We use the following providers to run the Game. They process data on our behalf or as independent controllers under their own privacy policies:

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect the rights and safety of our players or others, or as part of a merger or acquisition (in which case this policy will continue to apply).

4. Ads and your choices

  • In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, the Game asks for your consent before showing personalized ads or collecting analytics that require consent. If you decline, you may still see non-personalized ads.
  • You can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of ads personalization, in your Android device settings (Settings โ†’ Google โ†’ Ads, or Settings โ†’ Privacy โ†’ Ads, depending on your device).
  • Rewarded videos are always optional. Buying "Remove Ads" turns off interstitial ads.

5. How long we keep information

  • Account, cloud save, player name and leaderboard scores: until you delete your account, or until we shut down the Game.
  • Purchase records: as long as needed to provide and restore purchases and to meet tax, accounting and legal requirements.
  • Analytics and crash data: according to the retention settings of Firebase / Google Analytics, after which it is deleted or aggregated.
  • Progress stored only on your device is removed when you uninstall the Game or clear its data.

6. Your rights and deleting your data

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. Residents of California and other U.S. states have similar rights; we do not sell or "share" personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising beyond what our ad provider does under your device ad settings and consent choices.

Delete your account in the Game: Settings โ†’ Account & data โ†’ Delete account. This deletes your player profile, player name, leaderboard scores and cloud save, and asks our purchase provider to delete your purchase profile. You can also request deletion without the app โ€” see how to delete your account.

To make any other request, contact us (see below) and include the User ID shown in the Game's Settings so we can find your data. We will respond within 30 days. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

7. Children

The Game is intended for a general audience aged 13 and over and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

8. International transfers

Our service providers may process data in the United States and other countries. Where required, transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

9. Security

Data is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS). Access to our servers and provider dashboards is limited to the people who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the Game or the law changes. We will post the new version on this page and update the effective date; for significant changes we will also notify you in the Game.
